I'm all for continuing the league as usual, however, since this butts up against an iRacing Endurance Event, I wondered if everyone would like to do a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (991) @ the Nürburgring Gesamtstrecke 24h in the regular league format? Regular 60 minute qualifying session, followed by a 3 lap qualifying race and a 7 lap (Full Stint?) main race?

Remember you have two votes in the poll, and iRacing Official BSS is running Barber Motorsports Park - Full Course!

    League Format
    Open Qualify Session: Full Fuel
    - 7:30 PM EST (60 minutes). Drivers must record a clean lap within 103% of the fastest recorded lap time. Those who cannot do so are placed at the tail end of the field for the Qualify Race.

    Qualify Race: Full Fuel
    - 8:30 PM EST (30 minutes - 10 minute Warm Up + 20 minute Sprint Race). "Opt In" Inverse Grid based off results from Open Qualifier. Drivers outside of the 103% rule are automatically placed at the tail end of the field.

Main Race: Full Fuel - 9:10 PM EST (60 minutes - 10 minute Warm Up + 50 minute Race). Grid is set by results from Qualify Race. One Pit Stop is required for tires only at the 25 minute mark.

Pit Window is only 5 minutes in duration.

    Open Setups:

If you have a good setup please post it here.

If you are unwilling or unable to share your setup with other League Drivers then you are not permitted to use it during League events.

Some things to keep in mind for the new season:
    • Car Selection: You have from Week 1 to Week 4 to run different cars, and see which car you plan to run for the season! Starting Week 5; you must commit to one car, and you will only score points in THAT car for the rest of the season. After Week 5, you are allowed to change your car at any time in the season, but you will forfeit any points scored in a race not completed in your Week 5 car.
    • Track Selection: B2O Blancpain Sprint Series attempts to follow the official iRacing Blancpain Sprint Series for its seasonal schedule. However, we may hold a poll offering to change the layout/track pending the following conditions:
      • We want to encourage close and competitive racing, so we may offer a shorter version of a race track to keep the cars closer together. ie, if the official series is at "Suzuka - Grand Prix" Layout, we may offer the choice to run the "Suzuka - East" or "Suzuka - West" layouts to keep the cars closer together.
      • Some tracks bomb with a large portion of the community, so we may fall back on a community favorite if no one wants to run the track that the Official iRacing BSS is running
      • IMPORTANT: The Official iRacing BSS track of that week will ALWAYS be the Default track for the B2O Blancpain Sprint Series, it will ALWAYS be included as Choice #1 in the poll.

Since Barber is about as much fun as having root canal through your asshole I chose the Porsche.

Same, I chose Porsche. It just makes sense the night before a 24 hour to run what we're running the next morning.

And I love Barber, but not in fast heavy cars. It's fun in the Skippy, the FR 2.0, the Mazda. Not so much GT3 cars, the Porsche or the MP4-30.

Unfortunately @Draven6679, we can't make everyone happy, that is why we provide a vote to allow people to provide their input. Its a tough decision when, in Europe, it will already be early Saturday morning and we're just 8 hours away from a 24h team event, and I'm not surprised to see a lot of the community put the team first.

As much crap as we give each other individually in teamspeak during Practice Pals and B2O Blancpain Sprint Series League events, we are a community and we support each other, and that is never more evident than the iRacing team endurance events! We compete together as a team first, and we compete with each other in League second.

We'll always be back to business as usual next week, if this week doesn't suit you! Weeks like this happen, and that is why we include 4 drop weeks over the course of our season just like the iRacing Official series do.

I quite like Barber as well but I wouldn't be able to do the main race if it was Barber, both because I could use the Porsche practice and I might not stay up that late.

I'm not running the 24 hour and I can't seem to complete a full lap at the Ring, but I've had a blast this week in practice sessions and don't blame the race participants for wanting to get more practice in. Soooooooo, I too voted for Nords.

    This is a BSS League @Draven6679 .

You just happen to be here at a time when we have a big Endurance Event this weekend and everyone want's to be as ready as possible.

One day when the League gets popular enough to support itself outside of Endurance then you will see these sessions attain the majority of votes.

...for now however, most of the Drivers who run League weekly are running this Saturday 24 hour and voted as such.
