So how's DayZ standalone working out? Is it good? Tons of cheaters?

I'm thinking of grabbing it but would like some feedback.

If you can play with friends and can handle rollbacks due to patches , bugs , weapons/items not working properly due to Alpha status of game then you can have a real good time .
On the cheating , i havent heard or seen anything yet .
There are threads on reddit but , to my surprise, very few so that might be a good sign .
But i still run around Chernarus+ from time to time like a post apocalyptic Bear Grills .
And although its boring as wheelshit running solo , i do enjoy the game .

Yeah current dev. status is alpha , and according to Dean it will be for a while .
