In order to make this as easy and accessible as possible for everyone I would like to suggest that we use the BMW or Mercedes as pretty much everyone has these cars although this is not set in stone so let your car choices be known!

I will try to work out how to yoink those spreads sheets from one of the other threads so you can put down your availability.
For now though, please put your name down and we can see some numbers.
I might even find some pictures and that to make it look fancy.
I will even do a little poll in case you just want to click a button to show your preference! This will run for 7 days. (it's at the top , scroll up)

I would prefer the BMW (well actually the new Porsche TBH but I am the only one that owns it lol) but I will also happily drive the Merc so I will go with the popular choice without a problem.
As far as Time Slots go, my First choice would be the 12:00 GMT on Saturday but I do not mind the Friday Night choice also as it gives people in all time zones a decent time to drive.

Nice car pictures, they look very accurate :D

I don't have a large preference here, either the Mercedes SLS or BMW Z4 is probably fine at Spa. I could also do either the 22:00 or the 12:00 GMT timeslot.

Wow, I am out of town again starting on the 22nd. :( I clearly have not done a good job on scheduling around endurance racing.

If we do the 22:00 GMT (16:00 Central) on the 21st you could do your stints early, with 4 people you would only need to do 2 stints for fair share. 6 people and 1 stint would be enough.
So everyone, please consider deb and her Jetsetting ways :D, sign up so we can force her to drive around for an hour or 2 ;)

I'm good with either the Merc or the Bumwuh!

Didn't vote though as it would improperly skew the result, I'm 50/50.

I actually thought about that because the race starts at 5:00 PM my time on Friday. So we'll see how this shakes out and decide if I race.

vote for the one you want to drive as the popular vote is going to be the one we drive considering nobody seems fussed between the 2, if it comes out 50/50 at the end of the 7 days I am just going to flip a coin anyway .

Well I hope you can squeeze it in Deb! Please let us know as soon as you can though as if it turns out the majority of the drivers are in the EU then we would more likely do the Saturday race. if there is an even split of U.S and E.U drivers then the better choice is the Friday night one.

Once we hear who is going to race, decide what time works best for the team and if it works out to be Friday, I should be able to do 1 or 2 stints, but if Saturday is better for the team go with that.

Friday it is then!
So Far we have Me, Deb , Ken and Noel, Pretty sure @Skid_Marc_ said he cannot do anymore weekend enduros this year but with the Friday start perhaps? @ShadniX @Ogami Itto @Anson Bennette are you up for this event?
Plus anybody else I haven't mentioned, please speak up if you would like to join us for this one :)

@Noodleguitar could you please arrange the availability and schedule spreadsheet when you get a chance and attach it to the first post as I have not got a clue regarding those docs and would screw it up in mere seconds.

Voted for the BMW, since that is the car I already own. I don't mind buying the Merc for the event though, so I'm fine with either car.

Right Gang! Voting is now closed and as it was a tie I flipped a coin and the BMW is the winner, I am going to start practicing with the High Down Force endurance set with High Friction brake pads and go from there, If anyone has a preferred setup , feel free to post it here and in discord!

I'm not a fan of high friction pads personally. It's been years since I've used them as I felt they were at least, partially responsible for my self spinning.

If I had a choice I'd pick medium friction all day long.

give it a try on the BMW, the brakes are shit so they barely stop the car, there is a lot of wiggle room in the ABS also, if you hate it after a go we can swap out to the mediums without issue!

also also< i was running a couple of stints earlier today and made some changes to the baseline, Firstly I took 4 clicks out of the Diff so that the car would have a little more lift off oversteer and also control the back a little on power application out of a corner without making the TC kick in too early,
Second I put slightly more sturdy springs on the front which seemed to make the front of the car a little more "bitey" I will attach it here so everyone please feel free to try it and mess with it to make it even more stable and faster!
