Sup gang,
This weekend I renewed my subscription after a very long break, It was nice to race again in a multiplayer environment!
I did jump in at the deep end a bit with Historic IMSA but it was at Sebring so I didn't have to worry about track knowledge much, just lots and lots of rust to shake off.
I managed to get in the same race as Marc and Noel which was nice and IU didn't get killed! :)
Anyway, I would very much like to join everyone for Endurance in 2025, I do need to get my stamina back up to reasonable levels (it's been a tough year, leave me alone! :D).
I am going to do some GT3 to get back up to speed but I own less than half the cars on the current grid! If anyone has any recommendations on any of the new cars then please speak up, I do like the look of the Mustang.

I am also considering one of the prototypes depending on interest for next season/year P217 is always fun and I own the BMW GTP, I am open to buying one of the others though if anyone/everyone is even considering the GTP (I am pretty out of the loop so please bring me up to speed on what is good)

Are we still practice palling on a regular/semi regular basis? I would like to get in on that if so. I also have a couple of people that I do rally with that may be interested in giving iracing a try, new addicts are always good!

See you on track!

That's great news!!!!!!!! I am glad you are feeling better :D I think Marc and Noel are doing Vintage IMSA. Marc and I were doing VLN together and Noel was doing it solo, but that is over now. Marc and I have been doing some Super Formula Lights Series C and some Proto GT. Super Formula Lights has a different irating now since its open wheel, so it doesn't impact your endurance irating. I think they're at the GP Strecke of the Nord this week, so I will likely give that a try. That has been on Wednesday or Thursday. It will be cool to get back to endurance.

On a different note, Ogami and I have been playing AC Unity for a multiplayer game and enjoying it. Once you figure out the mechanics, it is pretty fun. There are multiplayer missions for up to four people. You do have to work through the main story to level your character as well, but the game is decent once you figure out the mechanics. We haven't had many issues with it so I think they've worked out a lot of the bugs. So if anyone wants to join us, we usually play in the evenings when Ogami isn't flying around the US.

Sorry, the super formula light is at Hockenheim this week not the GP Strecke. Proto GT is at Laguna Seca. I'm not very familiar with either of those tracks, so unless I can learn Laguna quickly will probably just practice and not race this week.

I think seat time ahead of the new season is probably just what I need before inflicting myself on everyone else :D
I don't have Hockenheim but I might try to get some laps in with the Corvette at Laguna.
I will wait until the season document comes out before I grab any tracks or cars so I can get a feel for which series I would like to participate in.
