I would like to do this in the Ferrari or the Porsche if anyone is up for this! I am pretty sure @Skid_Marc_ and @Noodleguitar are doing a two man team for this?
@Deb I know you said you are not able to do 6 whole stints but would you like to join if I can get someone else to take up some of the stints? If there is anyone else that would like to grab some stints then please let me know!

I think the paint is ok, unless there is a windscreen banner specific, I should have a setup to share by tomorrow unless you got one to submit instead!

Yes, if there are three of us, I think that should work. I probably wouldn't want more than 3 stints and even 2 would be fine :) I'll give the setup a try and let you know, likely tomorrow.

I had a little bit of time to test the first setup this afternoon. First I was in HS and I was struggling, at times it was hard to keep the car on the track. Then I went out and looked at the temp at the track temp was 62 C!!!!! That is crazy and if the weather is that hot, no one is going to survive. So I went out to a test session and the set up still didn't feel great. So I tried the iRacing medium endurance setup and I was a second and a half faster in it. Not sure what the issue is, but I would prefer the iRacing setup to this one, at least preliminarily.

The default iRacing GT3 number panels and windshield banner need to be manually added in the paints. It gets uploaded to Trading Paints as the usual default paint. The IMSA series paints with Windshield banner and number boards gets uploaded seperately to Trading Paints in a lower sections where league paints get uploaded.

Let me know how the medium downforce one is for you after the whole 30 Laps @Deb also please write down or screenshot your tyres (inside wear) and fuel usage per lap (the circled part below the gear on the dash is the number you want for this )

If the iracing setup is more comfortable for you then that is what we can use :) the V2 is not vastly different from the V1, I just tweaked it a bit to make it go faster, But feel free to try it anyway!

@Nejtun, @Deb, I hope to be running laps this weekend.

I'll likely run a Craig Setup Shop setup as their usually pretty good for me. If it runs ok, is it too late to attach it here if I run it Saturday/Sunday?

I also took a few days off work next week as I intend to race Bathurst in official because I'm likely rustier than fuck.

@Kenadian I am happy to try craigs set, could you post it somewhere please so we can both try it? I would rather not wait until the weekend to start practising on a possible race set! Also is it endurance? (full fuel)

@Deb, I did a full stint on the max temp iracing would let me put the slider to for Feb (35 degrees) which gave me a starting track temp at 10 am of 39 degrees. the first couple of laps were "ok" but then the medium DF set fell off pretty quickly after that and it is very very understeery to the point that I was lifting going up the mountain just to not hit the outside wall which costs quite a lot of time.

Please give the V2 a full stint as well as the Medium DF iracing set when you get time for a comparison , and of course gives Kens set a try please!
here are my times for a stint and tyres usage , I am using 3.6litres a lap. for a total of 29 laps.

I'll have to check tonight when I get home, unsure if I've still access to be honest?

Hopefully he's got something as I don't know when they publish setups for upcoming weeks?

I ran an FFS on the medium downforce setting. I put the slider to as hot as it could be which was 90 F, which is about 32C, not sure what the difference is in the settings. Perhaps I didn't set the month to February, so I'll try that next time.

Anyway, I got 29 laps, my times ranged between 2:07.848 to 2:09.344 but primarily in the 2:08s like you. My best lap was lap 17, but I didn't feel the drop off like you did. I ran a 2:07.992 on lap 28. Maybe I'm just use to an understeering car, this is the set up Marc and I used at Road Atlanta, so maybe I've adapted to it. My tires weren't bad, like you the right front was the worst: 59% - 60% - 85%, but the rest were fine, between 71% and 93%. My fuel usage ranged from about 3.51 per lap to 3.57.

I will give the V2 a try tomorrow.

Holy shit, that came up quick.

I can run the Ferrari, do I have to change the paint?
I think @Noodleguitar and I are committed to duoing the McLaren, in case you thought we weren't doing anything to spite you...

the real-world Bathurst 12h is this weekend, cars should have hit the track by now, so if you want any references, I'll try to figure out what's relevant.

So far, all the mock-up paints show the generic FANATEC windscreen banners, while all the real-life shots are from last-year's race with the LiquiMoly banners.

Footage from "Track to Town" Parade

Also, on Youtube: "GT World" and "Bathurst 12 Hour Live" for free live coverage.

WRT's first pics. 1st practice session is in ~an hour. If you have Facebook, it looks like they're streaming there. Just search "Bathurst 12 Hour Live".

I don't see anything special on these cars this year.

GTWorld published a Parade Preview Video, it appears that everyone is running the Fanatec Windshield Banner so I don't believe there's any changes required for the McLaren.

I do have to update the Ferrari though but I don't think it's going to take too long.

...although it's me so...
