Band of Others Endurance 2022 base vehicle livery is now finalized and currently being updated on Trading Paints.

Fortunately Trading Paints allows for updating which means you'll be seeing paints uploaded to the service in a more timely manner.

Given the amount of paints requiring re-skinning I'll only tackle upcoming Endurance Liveries in order of use for now.

I love this new scheme however remain cognizant not all of you feel the same way. Simple fact is it takes half the time to skin as the previous livery and it looks great on track.

All Liveries can be found from the list below and/or their release post:

Band of Others Endurance 2022 Liveries List: as listed on my Profile on Trading Paints
  1. BMW M4 GT3
  2. BMW M8 GTE
  3. Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo
  4. Porsche 992 Cup

Wait, I just now noticed the Hyundai on Hankook tyres for the "Michelin Pilot Challenge". What the hell? I guess they got the European car, after all? Interesting. I just figured they got it from Bryan Herta, but I guess that explains why the Hyundai doesn't have the MPC banner by default? Maybe it is Bryan's car, it's just a licensing deal? Also didn't know Yokohama was no longer the tyre supplier for TCR Europe.

Cool.

Ya I found that odd as well particularly given Michelin stickers are on the car as well.

Also, are the rear rims and tires smaller than the front or am I just imagining things?

As far as I can tell, the rules only specify a maximum wheel size, and when you consider it's FWD, front wheels do most of the braking, and they also needs to steer, while the rear wheels basically only exist to balance the car, and add rolling resistance, it would make sense for them to be smaller.

Hyundai and the Honda are looking nice Ken, are you planning on updating the Audi TCR too?
If it's being driven I can certainly update it.

Makes perfect sense for the rear tires to be smaller but I couldn't actually find any concrete information on it.

I found a forum discussion about it but couldn't find anything there either. There were some d00ds talking about harmonic balance and other stuff but no actual information on tire sizes.

I found the 2018 Yokohama tyre size; 250/660R18 Front/Rear, and the 2016 Hankook tyre used for the ADAC TCR-class; 260/660 R18 Front/Rear. In every instance I can find, the tyre sizes are the same all around.

iRacing lists the wheels simply as Braid 10" x 18" and doesn't make note of the tyre size. I went ahead and fired off the question to Bryan Herta Autosport, so I'll see if they respond and update if they give any useful info on the subject.

I didn't realize, but Hankook is a Korean tyre company, so I wonder how much that played into having those tyres on the Korean car, too.

Wow great work Marc!

I don't know how you manage to dig this stuff up, I guess I'm just intellectually motorsport challenged o_O

I just discovered that my Hyundai Elantra is on Michelin tyres @Kenadian! Try changing the base-paint to the next one over from default. It adds the Michelin Pilot Challenge Series banner to the car, and it appears to also add Michelin Tyres to the car!

lol I never choose right in the Paint Shop. I chose the bare colored car simply for the specmap and as always it's the wrong selection.

Thanks @Skid_Marc_, good catch!
