So pretty much since I've started playing iRacing I've noticed a tiny bit of ghost input on my brake that would bounce up and down randomly but it didn't look like much so I just ignored it ever since I signed up 9 months ago.
Today I reset up my pedals and when it told me to fully depress and then release the pedal, I only released the pedal to about where the ghost input would be. It turns out that the brake was inputting as much as 5% or even higher depending on how bad it was (Usually depends on how it gets released) effectively adding a small deadzone.
Here's my laptimes in the Star Mazda before and after.

It was my first time driving this car at this track (After practicing the F1 at the same track yesterday). I would say that time difference was from me learning the car at that track but the consistency is what is somewhat convincing me otherwise.
So, if you have a tiny bit of ghost input from your brake when you're not using it, it might be worth fixing it
