B2O Blancpain League Season 2 Week 1

Hey all just a heads up that I cannot make it to League tonight as my Internet is still on the fritz.

This is the reason I've not streamed the past week and also why I've not been able to keep connected to iRacing Servers.

My Ping spikes every 5 - 10 seconds to about 300 ms to all Ingest Servers on XSplit and doubles to quadruples at the same rate to google.ca.

My ISP cannot find anything wrong in the area and will not be able to get a Tech to me until Tuesday Mar 20.

Sorry about the notice. I was hoping this would be taken care of no later than last night but after hours online with them we've not been able to find a reason behind this issue.

...and it happened all in the sudden mid-Stream Monday 12. Everything was fine then I started dropping frames by the thousands. iRacing relative was a bit shaky and then I started getting disconnects both on and off stream.

I'll update as I know more.

Not many people,I think 6 of us.We did only 1 40min race because no point to do like usual with 6 people but it was fun.Anyway, If Noel didn't say on forum race is 1h earlier I wouldn't know

No problem. Yeah, I discovered that I had to create a new season in the league. Then I experienced the full wrath of the hosting system. After setting up the session and the grid I found out I was missing 30 cents to pay for the hosting so I clicked the recharge button. After recharging iRacing goes "Imma just send you to the homepage, you weren't in the middle of something, right?". I had to redo setting up the session twice more because recharging is not always instant either (had to log out first).

I tried the McLaren, which wasn't great at Okayama pace wise but I found a somewhat stable setup. Of course on lap 1 I decide to give a decent amount of room and clipping the grass, ending up three quarters of a lap down with a fast repair.

lol welcome to my world. I love iRacing but intuitive is not a word that comes to mind when describing some of their systems. Hosting Sessions is a joke and needs to be completely reworked from the ground up IMHO. It is so easy to screw something up and then you're out that $.38 which isn't much but when you've screwed up as much as I do it adds up.

I appreciate you hosting though and you've done it a lot so I thought I'd help ensure you're not fecking with the store when trying to setup a Session.
