BSRTC is perhaps one of the best, highest quality leagues in iRacing. BSRTC (British Sim Racers Touring Car Championship) is modeled after the BTCC, as best can be done within the confines of iRacing, using the Kia Cup car.
The popular world series features some excellent racing and acts as a feeder for the Pro Series, where teams look to recruit drivers. The series are the only sim racing broadcast on international TV, on the Motors TV network. The Pro series features big stakes, possibly the biggest in sim racing with a $20,000 prize. As said before, it emulates the BTCC with standing starts and three 20 minute sprint races, which are all determined by the previous results in some way. I'm not sure how exactly but it might be reverse gridded top 10 or something like that.
I've decided to give the World Series a go, especially because I've been wanting to drive the Kia but haven't had much luck in official racing.
The World Series runs Saturday, midday for American TZ. Seeing if anyone else is interested but I'm giving this weekend a try, which is one of the final races of the season, to see how it is and decide if I want to commit to the next season.
