Not sure if any of you have seen this yet.... guy builds crazy cockpit for Elite, spends 3k... pretty impressive. Something akin to what I've always wanted to do for my racing sims.

What I find kinda funny though is that Oculus blows this sort of thing out of the water now, in terms of immersion. You could argue that yeah, he probably is able to play a bit better, use the keyboard and everything to the fullest... but I can't imagine this ever being better than a rift set. Not to mention how much cheaper rift is and how it doesn't take up an entire room.
