For quite some time we've been doing our regular 332 Viking ArmA squadnights, always without any technical problems as far as I can remember.
However, since a few weeks we've been experiencing some strange connection problems.
These problems vary from;
We did a little searching and it seemed we were not the only ones having these problems. There are various reports of similar problems on the BI forums and on the DayZ forums as well.
I came across this post on the BI forums with a possible solution: connecting using the Six Updater.

Apparently the root of these problems are probably to be found at GameSpy, who is managing ArmA's server list. Perhaps the popularity of DayZ has something to do with it.
To join a server using Six Updater:
- click on "Server Browser"
- if required, refresh your server list by clicking on the 'Date' button located under "Server Browser"
- if required, fill in a server filter
- to join, right-click on a server > Updater actions > Join the game
You can also favorite a server by ticking the box located right of the server name. The server will now remain on the top of your server browser.
