Finally received my Throttle unit for the X-55 so I'm back in business for anyone who's interested on Thursday nights.
BTW, if anyone Horizon owners are interested in trying out Engineers please let me know. Incidentally, Engineers is a sizable download so you may want to start downloading up to an hour (or two depending on server load) or so before you decide to fly.

Elite had me bored, and now this new update seems overwhelming. I feel like playing Elite and iRacing is comparable to having two girlfriends, when I really only have time for one. Neither of them are something that you can just hop into. You have to level up and maintain, and I am not going to make satisfactory progress in either playing just one night per week.
For me, the time required to make in-game purchases are too high. I know I absolutely feed the p2p epidemic, because if I could just buy the ship(s) and upgrades with real $$$ to jump in and mess around with you guys, I totally would. It is a game I enjoy! But I am also aware of how that would wreck the community as a whole and I wouldn't want the game to change, so the bottom line is that I don't think this is just not the game for me, and for that reason I'm going to have to break up with ED... lol
