ETS2: Scandinavia DLC is out

With everyone having fun in other games, I'd almost forgotten about this one:

The Euro Truck Simulator Scandinavia DLC is out!

While smaller in area then the Going East DLC, there's much to like about this one. 80 new cargo's, new companies, and a lot more attention to detail to name a few, so it's not just a simple map expansion. With hundreds of new building models and landmarks the mod makers have also been looking forward to this, as it will give them lots of models and prefabs to add to their already great map mods. But judge for yourself;

I'll be getting this for sure (no choice with hundreds of hours in this game)...

Oh I'll certainly be picking this up as well myself. I don't think I have as many hours ingame as you do but at over 200 hours personally I think it's worth the 20 bux.

Thanks for the heads up NT :)

Great game/sim whatever you call it. I put a ton of hours in as well. Need to get it re-installed on my new rig and retire so I have time to play all of these games...lol

**edit** Gah! After watching the video, I don't know if I should get PCars or reinstall this. I really had a good time with ETS2 when I was playing it. Thanks Shilka, thanks a lot man! :p

This game really needs native MP support (not the mod)!

I agree it needs native MP Support but have read the game engine isn't designed for that functionality, not sure?

I did purchase the DLC and will try it next week when TrackIR shows up.

Hopefully current mods are being updated to work with Scandinavia.

I want to say I read the same thing at one point in time IIRC. However, according to a review on the new DLC, SCS is working to make it compatible with the MP mod. Not sure if this has been done yet however.

As far as I know, the MP mod never supported the latest version of ETS2, so in order to use it you had to role back your version. If the new DLC is made to be compatible, maybe (hoping) it means the mod will be held to latest standards? Not sure.
