Euro Truck Simulator 2 Screenshots

I thought I'd share some screenshots of this wonderful addicting game.
If you have some screenshots to share, please post m here too :)

My first own truck;

I love hauling flatbeds, perhaps because it gives me an excuse to use flashing lights, lol;

Traffic can be pretty bad at times, in this case a turning truck got its trailer stuck on this bus in front of me, I ended up flattening a sign on the soft shoulder to go around it eventually;
pic003.jpg

Sometimes I just stop at truck stops to have a real life drink and to enjoy the scenery and the traffic going by;
pic004.jpg

They got the day and night cycle just right in this game imho, takes just the right amount of time, and it makes for nice sunset shots;
pic005.jpg

I love how the game has put real life details in the gameworld. Here's a view at a schiphol airport runway that crosses the highway near Amsterdam, just like in real life;
pic006.jpg

Some companies have really tight entranceway's, like this one. Others are littered with stuff and are sometimes hard to navigate, making picking up and parking trailers a real challenge at times;
pic007.jpg

Some of the roadworks can really take you by surprise, like this one that's just after a bend in the road;
pic008.jpg

Driving in the UK has its own challenges for me, but some of the scenery is really nice. Passing a dozen speedcamera's on a single short trip is not...;

Railroad crossings have their own dangers, if you don't end up rear ending the waiting traffic, you could cross them too fast and damage your truck and cargo. I even went airborne one time when crossing one at 100 km/h without a trailer, and ended up landing on my front bumper causing €20.000 in damages;

Ever since the last patch it seems it can get a lot busier on the highways;

Night is really night in this game, especial in the rural areas. The extra lights you can buy are not just for eye candy, on twisting raods in the dark they really come in handy;

Having a coffee break before crossing the English Channel by ferry;

There's a lot of different loads to take, widely ranging in weight and type; from flatbeds to regular trailers, fragile goods and hazardous materials. I won't say no to hauling some sea containers if they make good money. Next to that the trailers seem to have different driving properties, and the ones with a high center of gravity can make your life difficult when negotiating corners at high speed;

Driving a load of glass panes from Austria to the UK is tricky, you don't want to sideswipe a barrier with this fragile load. The pay off is rewarding though, I made over € 70.000 with this single trip;

This is my newest truck btw, finally hired my first truck driver, and he's driving my first truck now. This 560 HP Iveco has no trouble pulling this trailer with 8 tons of medicine across the Swiss Alps. The scenery was awesome, so I just had to stop for some scenery admiration after traversing the 16.4 km long St. Gotthard tunnel, which is also featured in the game;

Since Duke has been pestering me about my poop brown company colors for weeks now, I changed them to something more modern. Hope you like it buddy, because I'm not going to spend 70K on changing them again :p

Those are really great screens my friend and terrific details to accompany them. I admit that I've taken very few screenshots because I typically record a number of my drives and don't want to pause the game while doing so.

I'll be uploading a YouTube Video on Euro Truck Simulator 2 in the next few days as per TIO's request and will post it here once done.

Aside from that, I'll try to start taking some screens more often from now on.

BTW, the new paint is MUCH better! :)

I can't believe how much you guys are getting into this game... I might have to give it another go when I get my new pc components installed :) These screenies and the descriptions are very entertaining

I'm 70'ish hours into the game now little P and can't put it down; it's awesome!!!

I believe it appeals to people who love to drive but for whatever reason just don't have the freedom to get in the car and cruise for hours on end for absolutely no reason.

For me, driving used to be in the journey and the relaxing, casual, laid back state of doing it. Now it's rush, rush, rush, point A to point B and taking my life in my hands every time I get behind the wheel.

It's sucked the desire to drive right out of me and I think that's what ETS2 has tapped into and replaced.

NT just out of curiosity do you have the game hacked to pause it and enable those screenshots or are those live action?

F10 is the ingame screenshot key (it will save to my documents/euro truck simulator 2/screens), and I have the driveby view (8) set to one of my wheel buttons. For the first screen and sunset screen I actually stopped on the road, went to outside view (2) and made the pic. The rest I'm either already parked (and use outside view to get a good vantage point), or while driving I went driveby view (while on a straight) and pressed F10 at the right moment. No pausing necesary.
