Good flight sim jstick?

I need to pick up a good flight sim joystick. I prefer something less than $75, with a twist rudder, profile & macro capable, lots of buttons & force feedback. I may end up getting Track IR so being Track IR compatible will be a plus. Anyone have any suggestions?

$75 will mean a few compromises and force feedback sticks are few and far between. You might be able to pick a Saitek Cyborg Evo Force but they don't generally get good reviews from players and it fails to work in some games.

The best stick in your price range is Thrustmaster T16000M. Its the cheapest stick with hall sensors. There is also the Cyborg FLY5 but I'll tell you from experience, those sticks are not very robust whereas the more simple Thrustmaster is and will give you better overall performance.

Track IR is a completely separate system so I can't see how a joystick can be Track IR compatible?

I use Track IR 5 all the time and the only function that I have mapped to a controller is my center/look function. For racing games I have this mapped to a button on my steering wheel, in FPS's it's mapped to my mouse and in flight sims it's mapped to a button on my flight stick.

This is all done through Game Profiles within Track IR itself so it makes no difference what controller you use, only that it has a spare button to map this function to.
