Guild Wars 2 Character Creator

So I finally have Guild Wars 2 Downloaded/Installed as and have updated to the latest NVIDIA Beta Drivers so now comes the Character Creation Process.

I launched Guild Wars 2 before work and there were a few things I noticed prior to creating my character (which I still haven't done yet).

The Character Creator asked me for my home world so my question goes to our North Uum-ericon contingent, where is my home world?

Also, I noticed that I get up to 5 characters; do they also share whatever home world local I select?

Lastly, I'm looking for insight as to what would be a good class for me to play? I've read a lot of your comments on how one role can be a bit boring as compared to another so I don't want to be bored or I'm likely to Leroy Jenkins.

In Skyrim and most other RPG's, I try to favor sword play but lately in Skyrim I've really come to enjoy archery and magic. In Skyrim I also enjoy the company of followers so I'm not sure if that's relevant here as well?

Cool thing about Guildwars is your level adjusts down so if you group with lower levels you are not over powered and you still get XP and decent drops. So we can always team up and do lower level things. Try all the characters, I think Lefty has already started leveling 3 or 4 different types. If you want a "tank" go with a Guardian, if you want DPS, go warrior. Then you have your caster classes. No true healer classes, dangit.

You ought to be able to spec out a Guardian pretty close to a healer at least. Maybe more like a GW1 prot monk, but something close.
