Currently studying Hydraulics and Pneumatics, which is one hell of a ball ache. but yehh, im in my last (4th) year so woohooo.

Im 21 years young. 22 in february .

almost been on iracing for a year now which i know isnt alot. but yehh there isnt much else to me life right now! :L

Nice to have you around! If you ever get into enduro racing with us, it will be awesome to have someone on GMT. At the moment we do not have anyone from the UK region on iRacing I believe.

Hi Jamie, welcome to Band of Others and the League of course.

I don't believe we have any other UKr's currently in iRacing. We had one but he has the attention span of a gnat and returns games to Steam every 5 minutes.

In fact there is so much back and forth between him and Valve that there's actually callouses on all the cabling between.

Incidentally, we'll have to ensure you're all setup in the League prior to tonight or you may not be able to join for tonights sessions. It seems to take a little while between adding League Members before they're actually able to join any League Sessions.

...no idea why this is but it is.

lol Daunt at your post, the truce lasted for a couple of months but I guess we just can't help it. Trouble is, when you are as bitter and jealous as Duke is (due to being Canadian - they're jealous of everything and everyone on account of having to ski everywhere and the only real relationship available is with a frozen moose) he just can't help taking it OOt on me. Because he just knows, deep down in his little -15 degree celsius core that he wants to be a Brit. Oh he'll deny it, he'll crack jokes and insult us. He's like that kid in school that punches the girl/boy/furry mammal in the arm playfully as he doesn't know how to express himself that he wants to get with them. This is Duke the Canadian wanting to be British. If it wasn't so obvious it would be tragic. The trouble is he'd never get through customs here hanging out the back of an overweight reindeer drinking Molson, apologizing to everyone once he'd defrosted his lips.

It's ok Duke, I finally figured it out. And I understand now that every insult you throw out actually makes you feel better about living over there in the 51st state.

p.s. do you fancy a game of Rocket League?

Maybe you're right though, a small part of me may want to be British simply because it would be perfectly acceptable for me to be a dumbass. I'd never have to apologize for saying something stupid. People would just expect it and possibly even look at it as an endearing part of my persona.

Ultimately though it's the sheer entertainment value provided by your lack of intelligence that's likely the core of our friendship.

It's probably the reason we've remained close friends for so long; you due to respect, admiration and desire for acceptance and me due to deep concern and my slightly overprotective desire to help those incapable of helping themselves.

See my most successful trick was to make Duke think he was the intelligent one. It's well known that the DNA of a Moose and your average Canadian O.A.P. is remarkably similar. In fact if he had antlers his face would be almost indistinguishable from Bullwinkle. Thus one must reinforce the brain cell challenged one's thinking to be able to help guide him through his frozen wasteland that he calls home.

One day he will travel, he says. Then, and only then will he see that no, maple syrup and a maple leaf doth not constitute the epitome of culture.

The only things Canadians are famous for are apologizing, but he's not even any good at that. But alas, that's our Duke. The "special" one.

If you do see him in-game, just make sure our fearless leader is ok, and try not to scare him with talk of smartphones, anything from the last two decades in fact, or the sun. All these things confuse him and the last time that happened he was found dressed in women's clothes holding a tiger back with a chain round it's neck, and that was a Wednesday night. There's photographic evidence somewhere around here I'm pretty sure of it. Daunt probably has it, don't ask why...
