The green hell. The fabled 28+ KM Gesmastrecke (whole course) layout of the combined Nurburgring is where the B2O Blancpain visits, ahead of the Nurburgring 24h in just over a week's time. The Ring, maintained as both a race course and a sort of toll road, allows professional racers and regular drivers alike to brave its 187 turns, winding through West Germany's hilly countryside.

This circuit will truly test all your abilities as you fight to keep on pace against spinning headlong into a wall. With GT3 laptimes varying greatly, the race becomes a battle of attrition as much as speed. Careful strategy is required, especially according to pit rules, as an 8 minute lap time could spell too long to return to refuel. Passing at the Ring is a tricky battle that requires both parties cooperate, or have it end disastrously.

Open Qualify Session starts at 7:30 PM EST spanning 1 hour. Participants are required to put down a reasonable time (within 3 seconds of the leader) to qualify for the Q-race. If any less than 3 laps are put down, or the driver is not within 3 seconds of the leader, he/she will be put at the back of the grid.

Qualify Race
starts at 8:30 PM EST spanning 40 minutes of practice and finishing off with a 20 minute, inverse grid, Qualify Race, gridded per the open qualify session prior.

Main Race starts at approx 9:45 PM EST with 10 minutes warmup and a 50 minute Race.

Grid positions carry over from Qualify Race Results.

A mandatory Pit Stop is required within a narrow 5 minute Pit Window at the 25 - 30 minute mark to take on tires only.

I recommend extending the pit window to ten minutes for this race - pitting within a five minute window is not doable with 8+ minute lap times.

Thanks for posting this Kyle, much appreciated.

I agree with you that a 5 minute Pit Window won't do here so 10 is certainly fair.

Hey guys I won't be able to make it tonight unfortunately I'll be in Boston until late but good luck and have fun! I should be on tomorrow unless I go to Lime Rock to watch the Pirelli World Challenge race.
