iRacing has a fully comprehensive licensing system which helps keep the nubs with the nubs and rewards the clean racer generously.
Each racer starts off in Rookie Class and has to race their way to a D-Class license to progress beyond the Mazda-MX5 (Road), Street Stock (Oval). It's imperative you be cognizant of the fact you're racing with other Rookie's so the racing can be quite treacherous in the beginning.
Once out of Rookie, you enter D-Class and unlock the sites features such as License Progression Tracking, Safety Rating Tracking, iRating Tracking and Time Trial Tracking.
