Super Mod
Well, I picked up this wheel today and man do I have to go back to the drawing board!
Trying to use the clutch and the H-shifter along with everything else is proving very difficult...
I gave up for a while and used the paddles with auto clutch, but I'm forcing myself to learn how to walk again as ultimately it's faster, and very rewarding when you do get it right. I'm currently driving with no shifting aids whatsoever and I'm going to learn heel-toe techniques.
First impressions of the G27 is it's very well made, it feels much nicer than the Driving Force GT and the pedals are just in a different league. Once I get used to them I can see me braking a lot later into corners than I ever did with the DFGT.
I wish I knew what some of the force feedback settings actually do because it doesn't feel quite right at the moment but that may be just because I'm used to a different wheel.
Overall though, very happy with it and I'm looking forward to getting to grips with it. It's just I'll be at the back for a little while until I do :icon_redface:
