So after a few test streams I can confirm that streaming Metro Exodus with Ray Tracing disabled yields both smoother gameplay and smoother streaming.
I'm sure this comes as no surprise to anyone.
Also, I had some really weird issues in night vision with Ray Tracing enabled:
Disabling Ray Tracing completely fixes Night Vision issue:
That's not the only issues with Ray Tracing either. In daylight shadows it can make NPC's nearly invisible as shadows are rendered near black at default brightness in Metro Exodus.

Don't get me wrong, when Ray Tracing works it's a real game changer but when it fails, it fails hard.
I think it's safe to say that Ray Tracing still needs some tweaking but overall it is a great addition. Having said that, at least for me, there are times when you must disable Ray Tracing to make the game visually playable.
