As of yesterday I've been having issues with mouse not working in either System or Galaxy maps within Elite: Dangerous.
I've been Alt + Tabbing out of the Game to resume mouse control within the menus but you need to repeat the process everytime you open a Map in Elite: Dangerous.
This bug has only begun to occur over the past few days and seems to be related to a very recent Steam or Steam Beta update.
If you're experiencing this issue simply close down Steam and launch Elite: Dangerous from "common files" within your Steam Folder.
Elite: Dangerous can typically be found at Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Elite Dangerous/EDLaunch.exe.
