Yesterday a new version of BattlEye was released with a very nice new feature: Server-side Event Logging!

Shortly said: it is no longer possible to bypass BattlEye/the server when using scripts. Script detection is now server-side.

More info on this here.

Good news for us normal players, bad news for hackers!

To make it easier for you they finally made some pre-fab filters.

They're located on: http://code.google.com/p/dayz-community-banlist/source/browse/#git%2Ffilters

I believe that with new scripts getting detected they will update them each time, so its just a mather of overwriting if you want to update the filter instead of adding everything by hand.

However i am not sure what will happen with the players who picked up scripted gear.
As i saw a post about an admin who added filters to his servers and 2 of his regulars lost all their equipment and spawned at the beach.
I guess we should just do it, makes it fair and fun for everyone :)
