Outfitting the Lakon Type 6.

I am going to buy the Type 6.
7 million in the bank.
The big question is Shields.
Anyone's thoughts on this are appreciated.
PS. Planning on using the Type 6 to fund my combat upgrade to the Vulture...and sell the Cobra...

You aren't going to outgun anyone in that thing, so don't bother with any weapons. I'd probably put A rated thrusters and a heat sink and chaff launcher and just submit and run from any interdictions. A-rated FSD, distributor and thrusters and D rate everything else.

I never ran with shields when trading, even before the repair costs were reduced to ridiculous levels. Maximize profit... submit to interdict and run like tm said.

Or be like me, spend 4 million on a good hull, hang a bunch of weapons on it ranging from plasma to rockets and combine with a good shield and double shield cell banks and watch those surprised faces as you suddenly bite back
Still be prepared to run though, when things turn sour you'll need that strong hull to last long enough to run after all...

I had the resources available to get 104 cargo and went with equipping good shields+point defences+A rated drive.
I went with the shields because I practicing crash landing at the pad lol.And it's a little extra "run away insurance".

Damn. Got a few solid trades in and worked up enough to get the Vulture....and the server has been hit by a Stellar Converter. Ah well. Maybe tomorrow...
