Porsche GT3 Cup on V7 Tire Model

I absolutely love the way this car drives now. I may be ignorant to any possible underlying issues but I don't care at the moment. I'm just really enjoying everything about this car right now. After spinning in practice on 4 consecutive out laps I started respecting the cold tires and got them up to temperature. Then it took me like 15 laps to get within 3 seconds of fastest in the server. I've never had so much fun being so much slower in a car than I used to be. The road feel is much better. I hope V7 tire model brings this and everything else to the other cars that have yet to get the new model. I still somewhat enjoy driving the GT3 cars but hopefully when they get the new model it'll add greatly to the overall experience.

I haven't driven the NTM on the Porsche, but I have driven a lot of F3 since it got put on that and I do like it. You really have to respect the cold tires but once they are up to pressure I think they feel great. I'll be curious to see how they feel on something like a GT3 car which to me feel really "dead" in iRacing on the current tire model.

Yeah the tires feel good when they get up to temp. Even with warm tires I feel like you have to respect it more than with the old version. It feels like you have to finesse the car more and keep it nice and balanced. Whereas before it felt like you could throw it around a little more recklessly. I definitely agree with the GT3 feeling dead. Hopefully the new tire model will bring a little more skill into play.
