Actually it's not called SimCity 5, they're just calling it SimCity now.

This is going to end up on my to-buy list for sure! We're just going to have to wait another year I'm hoping the game will have enough depth and simulation aspects.. hopefully not aimed too much for the casual/easy players.

I totally agree with you Wapwap!
In the beginning they're talking a lot about simulations so I hope they really mean it. I'm a bit more sceptical later on when they talk about multiplayer. Usually multiplayer means that things have to move fast and be easy for the player - which may not be compatible with deep simulation. I hope I'm wrong as I really want to buy this _sim_

Yea, same here about the multiplayer part. It all depends how they are going to work it out and how big of a role multiplayer will get. Perhaps single player and multiplayer will have different 'modes' or they're set up differently?

Can't wait to play it though.. been like 8 years since the last SimCity.

Yup, I'm very excited too. A bit more reserved now that I know it will be released by EA though. Well have it been 8-9 years since the last SimCity but I'm not jumping through hoops and giving away my first-born's blood to be allowed by EA to buy it on Origin (and all that crap DRM that comes with it).
I may have to wait for an 'unhampered' version or maybe I'll have to skip it
Only time will tell, but so far it's looking very good!
