The Six Updater is very easy to use and keeps everything up to speed without the need to trace and install manually unless one need custom mods:

http://www.six-updater.net/p/download.html

http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=118605

It also allows for launching profiles without the need for multiple shortcuts and manual editing of them.

Thus easy to test a lot of mods.

The latest version can be found here:

How to use the Six Updater:

First, download and install Six Updater (latest version)

When started, right click in Preset Panel (1) and create a new preset with a meaningful name (e.g. 332Viking).

Then click on the Mods flap (2). Notice in the bottom of this page you have all your mods listed that Six Updater automatically found (3).

Here you can select mods and click add for mods not updated by Six Updater, like BAF and PMC (if you have them).

From the mod list (4) drag mods over the name of your preset to add mods. Do this for ACRE, CBA, Fallujah, Isla Duala, Lingor, panthera and sthud. You'll notice Six Updater adds a few extra mods but that is OK, it's dependencies for some of your chosen mods.

Your preset is done for now.

Now you have to set the profile you want to use for this preset.

In the menu (5), click on Home unless you're already there. In the dropdown choose '332Viking' and on profile choose 'A2 OA Combined Ops'.

Then click 'Game Profile' in the menu. Under Profile, choose your Arma2 profile (user). For me, that's Duke. If you want you can check noSpash and skipIntro on the right side to speed up Arma2 startup. These two choices will remove the logo at startup and select no island in the background when Arma2 has started.

When you're happy with your settings, right click on your preset (332Viking) and select Updater action in the bottom of the menu. Choose Verify and repair. Six Updater will now go through your mods and check if everything is OK. During the check, Six Updater will ask for permission to copy files from ACRE. This is OK. This is just a quick test to see if everything is as it should be.

After verifying, right click on your preset again and this time choose Install or Update. This may take some time as Six Updater will go through your mods and update or install them if you don't have them on your harddrive already. Once again you will be asked for permission to copy files from ACRE.

Accept this and it will update ACRE both in the ARMA2 folder and the Teamspeak folder.

When this is done you should see that the hexagon on the left side of your preset name is green. This means all mods are updated to latest versions and you're ready to go.

Now, to start Arma2 with these mods you can right click on your preset and choose 'startgame'.
