SSD - moving Windows to a new disk

Got a nice new SSD for Christmas! Just wondering what the best and easiest way to put Windows (and anything else from my normal disk) onto it?

I tend to start fresh if i get a new disk and leave the old install intact on the old drive so i can switch in case the ssd gets messed up.

So I should take my Windows 7 disc and just install it to it? Do I need to deactivate my current Windows or anything like that?

No you shouldn't need to do anything like that, just install the SSD and re-install Windows as you would if you had just bought it.
