Well, I've finally figured the game out! No crashes, no glitches or bugs, looks like staying away from Cheetah speed is the way forward



Lost count of how many times I've demolished entire suburbs, re-zoned entire areas and bulldozed hundreds of buildings, but I got there eventually.

Now sitting pretty in my big ass mayors mansion. Boom!

Anyway, I rezoned quite a bit, but lessons learned

* avenues from the start whenever possible; AT LEAST WHEN PLACING SPECIAL BUILDINGS
* less is more when it comes to roads

Not much else, I am a little resistent to learning

I can't get back onto my Tardzone city. Keeps asking me to roll back or Sync.

Whatcha ducking for? I don't mind starting again, it's half the fun! Would be nice to get a couple of great works going next time

There's nothing you can do about it. I was originally going to suggest that you try abandoning it and then reclaiming but my guess is that this is pretty much the same as rolling back just without a Mayor.

I've been suffering this sync issue as well and can't believe they didn't see this coming. I hate EA like poison but I'd be surprised if they didn't have the infrastructure in place to alleviate some of these issues.

Which leaves me with wondering if perhaps it's a mix of EA not being setup properly, bugs within the software and perhaps a hop issue between myself and Server? Any one is an issue on it's own but a combination could explain the frequency.

I have no problem with this idea but if we're going to do it, let's try a different Server and see if this helps?

Let's pick something like Antarctica or Timbuktu or anything different this time around to see if it makes a difference.

How about a Euro-pee-on Server?

This rollback thing is a new issue. I have played 2 dozen or more cities before you guys joined in and never once had these issues. Its probably a case of them fixing one bug causing a much nastier one and having done so much in such a short period of time to get the game up and running they dont have a quick fix for the issue. We can hope when the next patch is released it will be fixed. I am certain if its happening this frequently to us its happening to a whole lot of others too.

Yes changing to a different EA Simcity server may be a way around it I was playing about a week on oceanic3 before this. And had no rollbacks just the normal gaming not doing what it should bugs.
