The Witcher 3

As you might know The Witcher 3 has been anounced for 2014 (pc + 'top of the line consoles (read next gen))

Some info; The (open) world is about 20% larger then Skyrim, and it will take 40 minutes to cross from one side to the other on horseback. There will be fast travel. Weather will be dynamic, and friends and foes change depending on if it's day or night. Foes won't level with your character, so certain areas are better not to be accessed at the start.

Man, I just started messing around with Witcher 2.

You should be done with Witcher2 in good time for Witcher3
I've just started my second play through of Witcher2 now (different choices really changes the game!)

I'm really looking forward to Witcher3. This will be an insta-buy for me, especially if they release it on GOG.com without DRM as they did with Witcher2 (and they probably will).

I think he is contributing as a consultant for the most part. Not sure how much say he has on the story itself. I think DC Project have created the games in a kind of "parallel universe" so they can have their creative freedom with the title.
I have not read any of the books so I can't compare with them, but so far I think CD Project have done a good job with the stories (considering they take place in a game and not a book).
