First, all I'm going to say regarding my small conversion project: The Ford GT is unbelievably ugly.

But as a side project I'm going to, I think, convert the V8 paints onto the Gen 6 cars, as well as the Cadillac. The paint seems to be really well-liked, and I'm very happy with it. This, and the fact that the cars are going to be similar to paint, unlike the tricky GT3 cars, will make the conversions easier than other cars normally would.

I tested out my personalized skin at Oran Park today. Thanks very much, it's awesome! I just have one complaint: you put the wrong avatar on it. Fix plz, otherwise I'll have to drive behind you in every practice session. Duke knows what happens then ... .

Also, you seem to have found a nicely suitable place for the Practice Pals logo.

OP is updated with fixed Holden paint, sorry about that. Overall the V8 paints have been awesome, so much real estate, very minimal needs for air intakes and fancy shit, or number plates (they're on the windows)

I'm very new to this forum, very new to painting and still have to finish my first official half year but i made a holden paint that 'm pretty happy about. Also real fun to work with the holden.
My (for now) still only holden paint;

Beautiful paint man. I suggest making your own thread in iRacing just for your own paints (like I have)

Funny enough, before I even ran into you (probably literally as well as figuratively) in the V8 practice, like the day before or so, I favorited and commented on this paint in trading paints.... what a weird coincidence.

Daunt, did you have problems with the Ford because of the template or just because of the car looks? Also, may I add my own small customization to the Base or rather not?

Mostly because of just how the car is. The car has very little to work with in the rear, which is where most of the personalization would go. I still could add something to the back, something minor, as well as the usual name and country on the roof if you want.

It's up to you. How hard is it to adapt the paint for regular Ford GT? I put the current paint on it and only issues I see are facebook/twitter logos on the side panels and wing logo (it's on bottom instead of top and a bit to the side)

I can look at it. I know there are small differences (because there are two templates for the two different GTs) but I'm not sure what.
So what is it exactly you want? Both GTs personalized?
