One thing that is bugging me at the moment is the random window wipers. I can be right in the zone, drifting round a 5 corner right on the limit, the wipers come on and completely throw me off into a tree. I wish we could activate them when WE want. I don;t know why but it really breaks my concentration :icon_confused:

It's certainly not the first time you have been said to have concentration problems. "OH LOOK WIPERS!"

Just finished our league's first event. That was quite crazy. I love the setup though. Did you have repair spots before stages? I might've skipped em but I am pretty sure I added them. I didn't get a repair through the whole first event.

And where is Duke?? We can not be the only 2 with this game!

No I didn't have an option to repair after the first stage which I really could have done with after discovering an Escort doesn't come with the factory parachute option :icon_redface:

Damn. I swear I made it so it occured every 2 stages. Hopefully the second (upcoming) event is set up correctly. Otherwise, good thing this is just a test season. In the meantime, watch out for those trees!

No TrackIR means no Kenny until it's replaced.

I'll join the League this weekend but it may be a week or so until my replacement unit is here.

You're only missing our test 70's stage. We'll either run a real 70's rally next season (start sometime next week) or move up to 80's and run a nice long season

Ya they gave me a further discount to help offset the price of shipping so I re-ordered last night.

Just bought the beloved Quattro - it is SO incredibly understeery. Obviously driving without any of the upgrades, but it is really difficult to drive, especially coming from the RWD monsters.

RWD is a terrible on Monte-Carlo, on gravel they feel good

Couple a few things regarding the upcoming update for Hill Climb:

Pikes Peak is really coming together now. It’s such a different challenge tearing up the hill with no co-driver giving you instructions. You really have to learn the route and there is plenty to learn. From a simulation angle we’ve improved the way we model the Aerodynamics. The Hillclimb cars have some extreme wing setups and this extra component of the simulation has given us plenty to layer back into the rally cars you are already driving, we’ll be getting on the case with that as soon as we can.

Another key element of Pikes Peak is the change in altitude. The difference in air pressure has a huge impact on the power the engine can produce and how much downforce is created by those big wings. Power loss with altitude is something we already simulate (you may have noticed a difference in car performance between Wales and Greece) but in Pikes Peak you actually get to feel the power drop as you climb. I’ll talk a bit more about Hillclimb next week so watch this space.”

Sounds like some pretty awesome features. Really cool to see how the altitude affects wing / downforce as well as engine performance.

yes, I noticed that too on someones Greece stages, but I did not believe that it is possible in this game . anyway, it will be cool feature in gameplay
