Nissan GTP-ZX

With the iRacing site being down for maintenance somebody discovered the Nissan GTP-ZX in the downloads. Presumably this will be used with the Audi in a multiclass series. Can't wait to have a vintage prototype car to drive. Going to be downloading it to drive from their test site while iRacing is down.

Turns out I can't use it on the test site. I'm guessing they hid it from there until it's officially released, but I was able to tick the checkbox for it and download it.

Was going to just edit out the part about me testing it but the "Edit" button isn't showing up for me on the post after changing the images from thumbnails to full size.

Edit: I can edit now and we're both TS3 SAs, that's strange.

The car is available for purchase and use now on iRacing. Lots of hosted sessions up for it already.

Smart marketing tactic, people would probably be more likely to pick just one car if they released both at the same time I'd imagine.

Gheed just ran a sub 6 minute lap of Industriefahrten in this car. Looks like it is going to be one hell of a wild ride.

It definitely is. I just got done practicing for ~4 hours at Daytona for this weeks series. I think it's somewhat comparable to the Lotus 79, lots of grip at high speeds, easy to lose at low speeds, although overall it's probably easier to lose than the 79. They both rely on having stupid amounts of downforce. It tops out around 188 mph at Daytona without draft.
