this could also be posted in the rpg section but seeing as it has 870 bazillion guns i decided it was shooty enough to be dropped in this section .

I played the previous game inside and out and loved every second of it , i still go back to it now and then just to sate my greedy nature .

I'm surprised actually that this hasnt been posted earlier ...

Anyway watch it and start getting excited !!!

Actually I must admit I'm not as excited as you are

I really like the first game initially, but at a certain point I found it getting repetative. There actually were not that many areas, and if you stay between the too high level area and the too low so not really fun to go to area I found myself fighting around the same two buildings and 3 rocks over and over again untill you can step a notch up, where you can start rinse and repeating all over again. I did like the style, the humor and the gun upgrading though. I do hope 2 will have more of a story line and more diversity in areas, then I might consider it.

Ah but , i played it co op and that is where Borderlands shines (like a super nova) .
And in co op the game scales to the amount of players , in difficulty and Ph@t L3wt drops .
Also , you havent played borderlands unless you have the Secret Armory of General Knoxx , i laugh my ass off everytime one of his recordings pops up .
Mad Moxxi's Underworld Riot was a bit of a let down but the other two dlc's added plenty of new content .
The Zombie Island of doctor Ned (in no way, shape or form related to dr. Zed by the way )was good fun , i always enjoy a good zombie slaughter fest .
And Claptrap's New Robot Revolution wasnt as funny but added more then enough content to keep it interesting .

Oh, I agree coop makes this and any game twice the fun. I wish many more developers would add coop to their feature list, as it's definately one of the most fun game modes around.

I'm still interested in Borderlands 2, but I want to see some pre- and reviews first I guess.

I really enjoyed Borderlands, and I went through it all Solo (cause I don't have no Xbox friends. Technically that makes me a sad panda).

Liked the DLC, but admit that it freaking sucked that there were no save points except at the Hub.

Looking forward to this one. If anyone's gonna do this shiznit on the ol' Xbox, lemme know...

That actually looks fappin good, but then trailers can be deceiving. Yes I'm talking about you Piranha 3DD.

OMG, Rage was absolute garbage and could have done easily without the vehicle combat.

I remember ID stating the game was more open ended so you could explore the world more but that wasn't true at all. Sure the game world was larger but everything was a tunnel eventually.

The textures were also a huge joke in many areas as it just looked awful.

There were some elements such as the combat robots that you could build to help you out but overall Rage didn't deliver on over half it's promises.

I'm just hoping ID bounces back with Doom 4.

I never played Borderlands 1 but this just looks like too much fun to pass up.
