I may be on the unpopular side of this and maybe a driving style thing, but i felt like the car was very much on edge the whole time.

The front dampers were setup to hold ls compression which makes them far more prone to lockup and plowing in the curves.

This was offset with a very stiff rear ARB, and high rear ls compression.

While this balances things out, in a high speed corner and corner exit this makes the car very on edge. Paired with the wobbly low pressure tires, there is no room for forgiveness.

In my setup, I reversed the setup to accomplish the same goal, but with making the rear forgiving and absorbant. If you drive it you will notice how much easier and harder you can get on the power, and the car will still turn in well and be equally, if not faster.

I'm happy to drive what you guys want.

As for tire pressures, the middle surface temp was reallylow. Are you guys sure you want to run them that low? Seems like 21-22psi might yield more even temps.

I can't speak for tire pressure Bedo, I was just going with popular opinion in that regard.

As for the set, I'll run yours tonight and see how it goes. I personally found the previous set that you didn't like very drivable over 2 stints without a tire change which is why I liked it.

I'll put yours to the test tonight on double-stinted tires and see what I come up with.

That pressures was just for try, today I will try higer,134kph.Nobody knows what is ideal, new car.Noel, what do you think when I test fuel today to try lower cambers 2 clicks?I think differents after 2 stints was 5-6%(middle-inside)??Maybe it will be ok 2 clicks lower and we dont loose nothing but gain less tire wear. What are you think?Bedo can you upload that set?

due to changing situation :) i think if still available I could do a stint or two in the race!? will be on tonight to discuss and drive if the opportunity still exists

It's just what seems to be working best lately. The numbers seem off and not realistic at all but in their latest tire update the less pressure you have the better it seems (for GT3). All of the GT3 sets I took off VRS for example had minimum tire pressures.

For everybody racing, please try to do a qualifying run (once will do) as you don't want to be stuck at the back of the grid if your nominated sign up person can't be there to sign up for whatever reason!

Qualifying is very simple. you sign up as if for a race, doesn't matter which team you use (you can use your own one that you use for practice as the time is tied to your name and nothing else) you get 20 minutes from when the session goes live to put in a couple of good laps.
I get loaded in with 18 minutes to spare so plenty of time for 2 lots of 2 hot laps as it starts you 2 chicanes behind the start finish line and not in the pits! if it takes a bit longer for you to load in, perhaps load first into a practice session and set your fuel and tyres before you sign up for qualifying and save the setup so you can load it and go when you load into the session :)

if it takes you a little longer to load in then make sure you have enough fuel for 3 laps and do them all at once!

The qualifying sessions are 30 minutes past every hour, good luck all :D

Aren't those more for sprint races? It just seems that the car is far less forgiving on the low pressures. Someone like you might not have any problems with that, but as far as our pleb team is concerned, I'd much rather have a forgiving car for 24 hours than a fast car with a high probability of driving through a wall :p.

What's a good fuel recommendation for qual? How much fuel does the ferrari burn per lap?

30 litres will get you 4 laps plus change, that is all you will have time for at most in the Ferrari,
11 Kgs ( 2 clicks) for the HPD will do you for 2 laps, 1 more click if you only have time for 3 laps in total!

Ok I tested MAP1,3,5 I rise t pressures by 1 click front,2 clicks rear to try that and lower ride hide by 1 click on all 4 sides just because I rise pressures.

MAP1 6.027L per lap
Best time-3.50.291
OPT 3.49.842

MAP3 5.927L per lap
Best 3.51.374 Top speed 1kmh slower
OPT 3.50.890

MAP5 5.766L per lap
Best 3.51.988 Top speed 2kmh slower
OPT 3.51.401

This was 7 laps

Guys I found you will go faster if you driving in the middle of the road, over wight line, weird but true :)

Invite me to the team in iRacing please.

gonna do my first double tire stint now to get confortable with it.
i don't even know what teams we're using.

and i really need an answer on my question regarding pancake, otherwise we're gonna have to steal denis from you :p

I'm finding TC1/2 can really change the feeling of the car.
1/1 feels quite safe but it handles totally different to 1/5 which again feels totally different to 5/1.

Once we get a setup mostly nailed down I recommend drivers play with these options for a lap to see how it might help them. 3/3 felt "safe" for me while still being less traction control than 1/1.

Bedo put fuel for 2 laps and after 2 laps just start over, you will be faster like that.New tires, low weight.I assume no outlap?
And drive in the middle on straights, you will see :)
