Hey Gang , Bathurst 1000 is next week! (Oct 3rd -4th)
I would really like to do this so I am practising this week as much as I am able.

I think the race is about 6 hours so 2 or 3 people would be a good size I reckon.
@Deb @Skid_Marc_ @ShadniX @Kenadian @Noodleguitar @Kinger and anyone else i haven't mentioned!

I cannot see a bathurst default endurance setup in the iracing UI but I had this one floating around from somewhere (posted below), but feel free to post a better one!

I do believe anyone that has done this before has the Mustang Gen 3 , I do not own the Camero Gen 3

Some info:
Fuel and Tyres seem to be done at the same time, the optionals didn't start ticking until the tyres were finished though.
I got 27 laps out of the tank , but it could go to 28 possibly as I came in with 0.6 of a lap remaining.
Tyres wore out more than I though with my lowest being the front right at 27% but that setup I posted was very slidey,
I am going to try the bathurst baseline out and top it up with endurance fuel to see if that is better.

I am going to try to solo this race again this year, probably the 12:00 GMT time slot.

This is the setup that I stole from Garage61 last year and ran during the race. The brakes on it are quite strong.

Going to try noels setup as the one I posted was way too oversteery, failing that I have been using this one which was in last years folder, just in case noels one is too much "fun" :D

Edit: So it turns out Noels set is infinitely more drivable than anything I dug up from behind the sofa so far , thanks @Noodleguitar , so I will put that in the original post and remove the others to avoid confusion.

I am still struggling to get the fuel less than 4.88 per lap, and you need to get 4.75 per lap at most to get 28 laps from a tank . I will work on it!

Which rear gear does it have? I seem to recall Noel ran the shorter one, but he geared out on the straight and it made fuel saving harder... or maybe it was reverse?

I can't remember either. I didn't fuel save last year because I did 7 shorter stints.

You need 27 laps for 6 stints, because the race is only 161 laps.

According to iRacing's insight tools (which are pretty cool), I've planned on running the Wednesday 11:15a GMT race, for the season, but last week the 09:15a race was bigger. Thursday has a "Euro"-split at 19:15 GMT.

It's Bathurst week, so there will probably be a lot of races.

Which time-slot are you all wanting to run for the 1000? I can do any except for the last one.

If all slots are on the table then I would prefer the 12:00 GMT on Saturday as that would probably have the most even split of skill/split (that's what i hope anyway!)
