That's why we've paired drivers so other one can take over in case of any problems.

It's actually my ISP and because their Tech Support doesn't respond sooner than 48 hours, they never see what I'm seeing.

They give the typical low level responses such as reset the router, remove any and all splitters, unplug it from the wall, reset to factory, etc., but none work.

Oddly enough, it works really well for a short time after I complain to my ISP but it never lasts more than a week.

I've been monitoring the connection for months now and it will be fine for a few days and then drop connection for anywhere between 30 ms - 12 seconds up to 10 times/day.

Most games can live with this to some degree but iRacing kicks me from the Server every time. I think iRacing doesn't view it as packet loss, they view it as a disconnection outright and close the connection immediately because of it.

I'll likely contact iRacing Support to see if I can do something to the background service to avoid a disconnection.

Unfortunately there's nothing I can move to. The competition just upgraded to Fiber but it makes no difference because anything higher than 1.5 up isn't available in my area.

...and I live in the middle of it all in a busy area.

It just goes to show you how poor internet is in British Columbia Canada, it's abysmal really.

Unfortunately, race came to a very early finish after a racing incident between us and Staff Infection car (iracing staff). As I was heading into T2, iRacing spotter called clear, so I slowly moved into outside line, but other car was still there, causing self inflicted PIT. RUF being RUF, blew the engine after damaging the front end.

I say we run another car next time for the sake diversity or to prevent stuff like this.

How many stints into it? Endurance racing is a whole new type of racing that requires a lot more caution, even if it does hurt you a few tenths or more when you need. Spread out over 12 hours it seems like nothing.

Lap 1, entering T2. I personally run in the endurance "mode" myself as I do mostly WSCS (even if just 45 min), so there was no rush.

At the moment, we still have 3h Blancpain Endurance Series where we could find several teams as 3 drivers seem optimal and we have enough. Next long one is 6h of Watkins Glen on July 11.
