20 sided die looking stations arrows

here you go peelar lol, believe me now. there are arrows pointing to the entrance of the station once you request permission to dock.

The sad part is they sometimes are impossible to follow. I hardly even look at them anymore, it's much easier to look for the contrails.

lol he didnt believe me, and he even tried docking in one and looking for them and couldnt find the arrows. he was like i dont believe you lol. and idk dauntless, i didnt sit there, watch the station spin and count them lol. 20 sided die is first thing that comes to mind when i am looking at them. its the dnd in me hahaha

I'm pretty sure we've had this discussion with him too but I think I may know why he doesn't see it.

You have to select the station and have permission to dock to see the arrows I believe. If he's like me, he doesn't request permission to land until he's approaching the letter box.

Off the top of my head I can't even remember if you have the dock selected even when after landing clearance is given. If this is the case it means the dock is never selected for him and it's less obvious when the icon is blue instead of green.

Again I'm going off memory here. Just trying to gloss over the fact that Jeff is a big dumbass.

I swear I don't have them. And I was just kidding when I said I didn't believe you, I just don't have them lol. I just realized that I have the brightness of my HUD set pretty low, wonder if that is what the issue is, they're somewhat faint on your screenshot.

If your brightness is down then that could certainly be an issue too.

I do know you have to select the station to see it green and that makes the arrows more visible (at least for me). I think the arrows are there when the station isn't selected but I have a difficult time seeing them.

I wouldn't mind if they had arrows to the docking platforms as well. Good Lord do I struggle trying to find my platform and nearly always approach from the wrong direction lol. :icon_redface:

I just look for the wakes. Stations of this size always have traffic in and out of the letterbox and all those ships leave wakes.
