My thoughts:

I absolutely love the IMSA and Grand Prix schedules. I'm extremely tempted to run them. GT1 is pretty good but the The GT3 schedule is eh aside from a couple, especially combined Nordscheife in W11!

I was looking at buying the skippy and running it this season but I'm not so sure with this season's schedule. Not a fan. Aside from a couple tracks I hate those tracks.)

I'm pretty sure BES/WEC layout isn't the Combined layout. It uses GP track with a few different corners (less chicanes?). Otherwise, I'm liking the tracks used. Thinking of returning to the GT3 for a bit. FGT is starting to gather dust :lol:

You're probably right but it's close enough to the full combined I think. They said there are going to be a ton of configs for Nurburgring.

Combined = GP + Nordschleife

BES/WEC = variation of GP.

60 minutes on Combined would be 4-5 laps in GT3 cars. I doubt they'd do that.

WEC = the world enduro championship.

You could be right but I thought that was when they run 24h of Nurburgring, which I thought for sure they ran the combined or Nordschleife. So that doesn't make sense to me.

The GT3 schedules are the same so it would also be for BES. Other, even stranger series also run the combined/nordschleife, including the both Lotus', the Ruf Cup, and SM.

So I'll bet with you five iRacing credits that it means not JUST the GP but part of the greater track.

According to this, GP has 5 or so layouts. If they named the layout according to the series that runs it, WEC layout will be a variation of GP.

Example:

Kia on W2 will run GP without Arena, which is the 3 corner section after T1, making the T1 a hairpin style turn. So without Arena, T1 will be chicane-ish corner.

GP Legends on W2 will run Nürburgring Nordschleife - Industriefahrten which is either an old layout or rarely used variation of NS.

Also, there is that last chicane which causes more variation to the circuit and I don't know how they'll name them all. We'll see when it comes out, but regarding WEC, above stands if you ask me.

I tried to use Assetto Corsa to practice for the Nordschleife but man AC just feels so off for me.

It will let you download the updates before the site is back up from maintenance, pretty useful. Especially since it could be near 10 GB of updates.

I don't see the Nürburgring listed though . Maybe because I haven't purchased it yet.

I was just about to post the same link ( http://members.iracing.com/download/member/home.jsp ). Total looks like 1.2Gb or so. Not much. I think tracks are available only if you buy them

Yeah, use Slider's link if you pre-download. Mine doesn't take into account what content you already have it seems.

Downloads are back up, but membersite is off. They loaded old backend to locate issues. They need sleep too, they'll work better tomorrow

BES is back to normal as before. S4 was Qualify for GT Pro series.
