332 Squad Night March 17 or 18?

Hey guys, I was wondering if there would be anyone interested in possibly having a weekend Squad Night in a few weeks?

I've given a spare copy of 1946 away to a friend of mine and he sounds like he may be interested in joining in as well. I actually work with this guy so he's pretty much stuck with the same play schedule as I am.

Anyway please let me know as it would sure be fun to take to the skies with you folks again.

I think he's spent a lot of time in Combat Flight Simulator so he's probably better than I am (who isn't?).

Thanks to HaJa, I can attempt to patch up one IL2 install to 4.10 and another up to 4.11 and see how it all works out. Hopefully I can peer pressure Wappy or someone into helping me test out that it works online.

Then I can setup a dl page here along with the patch links, patch notes, install order, etc., which will help my friend get up to speed.

Anyway, looking forward to flying with you guys again

I'm so very sorry Duke (and everyone else ready for a flightnight this Saturday)!
I've just bought IL-2 1946 on GOG.com (because I still haven't found my DVD yet) and was totally ready to join a flightnight this Saturday, but I forgot that we're having a family dinner this Saturday that I can't slip away from
I just haven't connected the two events happening on the same day until now (yes, NOW!).
I'm so so sorry Duke, but I can't host this Saturday.
I really hope we can try again another weekend?

Unfortunately I can't join or host this weekend but there is some interest of getting a flightnight going on Saturday so anyone may host if they please.
On our ordinary flightnights (Thursdays) I'm planning to go with IL2-1946 4.11, at least to start with. I will also have a clean 4.10 version ready in case we'll use mods sometime.

That would be awesome but I'm a bit concerned about not being able to connect to one another. I thought in the past it was a really simple process but Wappy and I have tried twice now and can't connect to each other online.

I've tried both 21000 and 21001 ports and neither seem to make any difference.

Is there a dummies guide somewhere on how to connect in 1946 4.11m?
