6 Hours of the Glen - August 5th & 6th

@Nejtun Looks awesome and thanks. I've saved the jpg as my background. I'm a little worried with my name plastered on the back. Just an easy way for you guys to know it's me and punt my A$$. I'll check out the livery in iRacing when I get home.

I'm looking at the VLN schedule and there are no races on Sunday. There is a race at 7 AM my time Saturday and 8 PM my time. Are we considering the late race the Sunday race?

I am tempted to drive the Ford for this race as I find it much more fun than the Ferrari, there is a bit of an issue at the mo with the aero damage model though , the Ford is a wee bit fragile! so keep it in mind if you are driving the Ford for the moment :)

Ford GT - 2017

- This update addresses curb strikes with the Ford GT - 2017, which isn't currently able to use curbing as aggressively as the Ferrari 488 GTE without doing floor damage that significantly increases aero drag. The Ford and Ferrari should now be equivalent at curb strikes. Existing setups will need to be updated, as they will fail tech.

Tested this out yesterday, had to adjust ride heights a bit as it failed tech instantly :p , but it seems to be able to take damage as well as the Ferrari now! much more fun to drive when especially when you stop thinking " when is the damage going to slow me down" (yes it was that bad :D )

The Ford GTE setup that I had from Craig Williams failed tech last night when I went to practice IMSA at WG. I'm guessing the iRacing update yesterday messed with the settings.

1. The 24 Hours of Le Mans will be rescheduled at a later date. We will give you more than enough notice to prepare for it.

2. We are rescheduling the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen to the weekend of August 5-6: http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/3559973.page

3. Since the pesky bug has been found and fixed, no other events will be delayed. The Spa 24H will still happen on July 22. You can refer to our special events page for specific race times of all future events: http://www.iracing.com/specialevents/

I'll end up driving both. I definitely want to drive Spa, but the 6 hours is short enough that I don't mind doing it two weeks after Spa. I'll remove you from the driver list Denis.

I'm still planning to drive this in the Ferrari if anyone is game to do a two man. Been crazy at my new job for me the first few weeks but I'll be practicing for this all next week.

i might need a partner. my original plan was to drive it solo but my knee won't allow that... ;(

if i drive, i'll drive the ferrari. but i can't say for 100% sure yet.
