Join the new IL2 forums posted in the "merge" post and take a look at what 777 Jason says

I think this is a great move ahead and we will have a great piece of sim coming
out of this ( I might have to eat my words however )

Also take the time and download and install the RoF free version and I can host some dogfighting so we can learn the pro's and con's and perhaps set up a WW1 332 flight night

DCS is a steep learning curve and I still havn't managed to learn it

I'm with you on a RoF flightnight HaJa! Would be cool if you could host this event as well

Is there a free RoF version now? Sweet! Could you please post the link as well and that way I can make a post on the forum suggesting a flightnight with RoF some time early in the new year (I doubt we'll get many new flyers now, so close to the Yuletide ).

Have there been any changes in the gameplay?

It is complete with all planes as AI and two planes for you to fly.

When first trying to fly don't be put off by the trouble keeping trim on the plane
You have to go in and set curves for each plane as each plane has different characteristics
and almost everyone demands forward stick "out of the box" to level flight
