About time they started to adopt frame pacing, this was for me the big killer not to purchase AMD. I'm assuming they didn't do it because they didn't want the 5% benchmark hit on review sites, not we can finally use Crossfire properly.
I've been holding off on multi GPU' setup since I had 2 nvidia 6800 GT's back in '05 for BF2 (holy shit them were some loud cards) because of this apparent micro stuttering issue. I know it affects AMD more these days than nVidia but I still read sometimes of some nvidia users getting it over at Guru3d (been a member there for some years).
Nice to hear AMD is being proactive with the issue instead of sticking their heads in the sand and pretending it doesn't exist.
