Anyone getting Titanfall?

I actually had a look on stea...eer i mean origin this morning thinking i'd get Titanfall , all the vids on youtube and twitch do make the game look very interesting .
Then i saw the price and and said to my self "the hell with that" and quickly shut down origin .

I played the Beta, it's very good. For once it's something different than all the copy+paste shooters out there. Just wondered if any of the FT's were going to get it, as it looks a great squad based game to get into.

Looks like Mech Warrior and it's the typical $60.00 that all games are currently. Meh, idk, I will wait to hear from the gang on it.

Beta was fun, free-running is pretty cool.

But: Not a fan of the twitch shooting, plus the 6v6 can make for some really unbalanced rounds as individual skill is emphasised compared to eg. BF, even more when a group of skilled people play together.

And I have way too many games as is.

So - unlikely.

I'm not really a Mech guy so the game doesn't interest me too much. The concept is pretty cool but it just doesn't appeal that much to me.

And of course, iRacing eats up all the gaming time atm.

Well, I decided to get X-Com complete pack on Steam instead - great decision. X-com may just be my favourite game of all time... fantastic game

I'm likely not getting Titanfall. I gather it doesn't have any single player experience, and I find myself less and less likely to play multiplayer FPS games anymore. I just don't have the interest, really.

Lately, I'm playing Crusader Kings II instead. Finished a playthru of X-Com Enemy Within recently, which was terrific.
