ArmA 2 Start Shortcut Properties

Any of you guys who have more experience with the ArmA II program have specific tips on how to run it better, like quick was talking about cpucount or something like that in the start shortcut. Quick if you could post that here and anyone else with any other info they might share.

There's a ton of tweaks available for running ArmA better but I'd suggest you make a Mission in the Mission Editor in Cherno and add:

• AI Controlled Vehicles
• AI Troops with set waypoints
• Some markers to walk/run to
• Fraps to measure the framerates

My shortcut for Survivedayz (So no vanilla Dayz):
"D:\Games\Bohemia Interactive\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@SurviveDayZ -nosplash -cpucount=4


The startup parameters like -cpucount=4 can also be set in the properties in DayZCommander.


This one seems to be kewl for faster loading.

-world=empty

*removes the background in the menu's as it is loaded as a world

Lets see some screen shots of where you have these parameters running.... otherwise you'll have to explain it 6 times.....

Thanks Duke and Quick, we'll see if some of that helps out, I seem to have the i7 HT stutter sometimes that was talked about in there. I'll disable and check it out.

I have an AMD quad core and have the same stutter once in a while, i dont think it has anything to do with Hyperthreading as there is no difference when i turn it off/on.
I noticed that once in a while BattlEye checks for an update, and then i get the stutter.
Never checked my bandwith when the stuttering occured, ill keep an eye out.

Lol Ninja, There is Mannelijke (Male) and Spuiten (Squirt) in one sentence....makes me wonder

When i litteraly translate it, it becomes something like this:

We will take out the enemies with our huge weapons, they cower in fear as we spray bullets with our male....


The male part worries me tho
