ARMA event Tuesday 19.03.2013 - Roll Call

This Tuesday we'll host another ARMA3 event at 2000 CET.
Last Tuesday went really smooth regarding it's still in alpha. The shortcoming right now seems to be in the quality of missions, but we found a couple good ones and they provided good fun. This time I've found even more missions for us to enjoy.
This time we'll play the mission 8(co) Water Wraiths by nkenny. this should be a short and sweet mission that should be running well.

As before, iIf anyone who wants to join us only have ARMA2 we'll start an ARMA2 mission instead.

I also do requests if anyone have any suggestions for a mission...

I should be there tomorrow if my computer will cooperate. It didn't start yesterday, it did start today.. so it should start tomorrow as well? I'll try to make it!

Wow Wapwap, your computer acts just like a scorned woman. Give it lots of TLC and it should shape up nicely again (but it will never completely forget) ;)

I tried that Leimboy, but it looks like i'm out of luck tonight. It's not starting today.. i'll keep trying, but I think I won't be there tonight.

Only Wotan and me was able to join this time. We started an assault mission built for four players. It was interesting but very very hard. Without any form of respawn either it made it nearly impossible.
The mission itself worked as good as it should though and it was interesting to notice that the AI now also reacts to engine sounds much earlier than before. In our first mission we started in a boat and had to swim the last bit towards land or the AI would hear us and sound the alarm (which one way or the other always resulted in our deaths).

After a few tries we started the same skirmish mission we played last time, but this time the two-player variant. I suppose it spawned fewer AI enemies but I couldn't really notice any difference as I died just as frequently :D

It was good fun trying to set up mines and lead the AI towards it. If only I could stop mixing Anti-tank mines with anti-personell mines :icon_mad:
