ARMA2 event 09.10.2012 - Roll Call

Hello everybody! This evening I will host the event again as this will be the last event I can join and host for a couple of weeks. I'm off to Spain for a well deserved holiday the next two weeks
The mission for this event will be "Mercenaries" if we are enough people. This mission is giving us random tasks that will give us money if we're successfull. Money can be spent on new vehicles and weapons/gear.
I think we need at least six people to make this a fun mission with any hope of the slightest success

If you want to join this event, let me know by typing a short message in this thread.

Time will be the usual 2000 CET/1400 EDT.

I'm in! We need to ask questions about hosting as Rolfy had the couldn't connect issue with my host last week unfortunately!

Yeah, I think it maybe was a problem on his end. We did a test a few days later and he connected to me just fine. No changes were done on his system so we concluded that the problem had to be outside his control.

Yup, i ll be there :reporter: ...and think it was some strange isp related issue, but could be ok to do a quick test and see if I can connect to others outside Norway. Maybe I have to open some slots in the big Norwegian firewall :icon_twisted:

We should have time for a quick test if Ogami would host for a minute or two. I could try to connect as well to see if everything works OK for yet another Norwegian

Some screens from our mission "Mercenaries":

Nighttime shootout. Driver (me) is more or less blinded

We were also attacked by this helicopter - obviously inspired by the japanese kamikaze

We were seriously harassed by this T-72 - no more!

This one we ambushed

Heading back to base after our first mission

As it was late we sped up using choppers

Our brave pilots taking off before heading into danger

...and that was the last we saw of them..
