ARMA2 event 11.09.2012 - Roll Call

I have not yet decided on a mission for this event and it will probably change depending on how many of us joins the event.
I will try to find a mission later today if I have the time (mondays are always busy for me). If you have any suggestions please post them here!
I very much enjoyed the mission we played last week - Swift Visit by theOden. We could of course use that again, but with British equipment this time. At least it makes it easy for me since the mission generates random tasks for us :icon_cheesygrin:

Not many good screens from this event I'm afraid, but here's some anyway.

We were given two (of three possible) tasks:
1. Destroy a supply depot
2. Destroy three artillery positions
3. Get back to base

At our disposal we had 1x CAS and 3x artillery from HQ, like last time.
CAS was used without effect, except for training purposes for the enemy AA soldiers.
We also gave them plenty of opportunities to shoot down our choppers when we requested pick up after the tasks were done. The first two were shot down upon arrival and attracted lots of unwanted attention to our location. Among other things a BRDM and a T-34. Exciting! Especially considering we did not have any AT weapons at all. Satchels solves all problems though...

Ogami and Wotan missed the chopper so they requested another lift home. The last thing we heard from them was that they were hit and were going down. We presume they were captured. It's not impossible we'll have to do a rescue mission next week
