ARMA2 event 20.11.2012 - Roll Call

I didn't have time yesterday to find a proper mission for this event but I will spend some time today to find something and post it here.
I will try to find a mission that has room for eight people and may or may not split us up in two teams. We still have many missions that we haven't played too much in this category so there should be plenty to choose from.
When I have found a proper mission I will post it here and some info from the mission description, like last time.

I'm also open to suggestions of other missions if you find something interesting

I've found a mission that I think should suit us just fine. We have 10 lives, we can revive teammates and if we die we can respawn at certain areas.

Description:
Intel recovered from a raid in Zargabad has revealed details of an arms for opium deal between a renegade Taki UN officer and an Al Qeada cell based in the Chaman region of Takistan. Delta teams are to be inserted into the area and are to take out the renegade officer and intercept and destroy both the opium and weaponry consignments.

Intel report
The corrupt Taki officer is believed to be in the Chaman district to oversee the transaction, and is intending to use official UN vehicles to deliver the weapons and then smuggle the narcotics across the border and onward to the shores of Europe and the United states.
We can assume the Taki officer and his men wont be best pleased to see us, take no chances! This is a kill mission.

Execution
An 8 man fighting patrol will be inserted by heavy lift chopper with 2 x SOVs for mobility, each SOV is equipped with extra ammunition and a selection of secondary weapons.

Special units:
Field medic:
Has the ability to deploy a mobile spawn point, also although all units can revive and have one self heal option after that is used you will need medical assistance from the medic after being revived.

Engineer:
Has the ability to deal with enemy IED s and to carry out repairs to vehicles in the field.

We were too few to play the original mission on this event so we gave.....you guessed it! Mr. Poppyhead another go. This time we were determined to complete the mission.

We gave the mission several tries...

...as most of the attempts ended up like this...more or less...

Not giving up, we moved on and took out the bodyguards first

Capturing his SUV was part of the plan as we needed an escape car. Rolfy repairs it.

Here we have captured Poppyhead himself (back seat). Local policeman Mohammed looks proud!

We even captured the truck with the drugs!

Heading back to base through the desert, in the hope that no enemies would be there.

...And they were not! V I C T O R Y!!!!!! This....is....ARMAAAAA! ...at it's best!

Thanks everyone for a fantastic evening. Finally we can put this mission to rest. Mr. Poppyhead is finally behind bars...for at least 24 hours.
It will hopefully be some time before we meet him again.
In our final attempt we had no casualties and the suspect and the evidence (the truck) were unharmed. Perfect execution! Well done everyone!
