No special mission is prepared for this event but we'll pick an interesting one at launch.
I'll try to scan for shiiny new missions for us before the event but I can't promise anything yet.

So how did you guys fare? All goals accomplished?

It got a bit hectic towards the end with helifights etc, and the mission triggers seemed borked, but we had some nice kills.

As Shilka said, the triggers seemed borked. We DID complete all tasks in the end, even if the hostages may have some complaints about the way we released them. It's enough to say that they are in a better place now and they have us to thank for that :icon_cheesygrin:

I think the mission was quite fun and Ogami did a fine job as TL. Dividing us in two teams was very effective.

Glad I didn't bend to many noses with my demanding leadership style. As long as people are willing to learn, I'll be glad to teach what little I know or have picked up from other ArmA communities.

To that end I'm going to address several thing that popped up in that mission and why I organized the squad as I did and how it should work. I'd like to elaborate on these concepts in another thread that's not so date specific to let others read the info if they feel like it.

More specifically to that end, Leimboy mentioned Unterführer, well that role exists in the 2 fire-team squad concept as the second fire-team leader. As squad lead, I control the first fire-team and give the second fire-team leader orders who implements those with his team when detached, or makes sure his team is executing correctly any full squad orders.
